The whole of October was pretty much filled with the excitement of my daughter Rachel’s wedding (read about it here) however, two magical moments happened at the start and end of the month too.
The first was the Infinite Possibilities Conference that is held online. It’s an event that is particularly special to me. The book, Infinite Possibilities by Mike Dooley (who was in The Secret), helped me to get my life into such sharp perspective that it was a major tool in me being able to lead the life that I dreamed of rather than the life that I feared. If you haven’t read it, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
I was chosen yet again to be on the conference crew which meant I helped a small group of attendees to navigate their way through their own journey to becoming a certificated trainer of the book’s teachings and the lessons within. It gave me yet another opportunity to meet and make like-minded friends, which is absolutely one of the pictures on our dream board. To be on the crew is a tremendous honour and a great gift but can leave one feeling emotionally tired, so I took a few days off afterwards. Remember, your thoughts really do become things.
After the wedding right at the end of the month, we headed out to one of our favourite campsites at Cheddar Gorge. This truly is a gem of a place to come and visit. This particular campsite is close to a grocery store – always a bonus – and has very interesting places nearby such as Glastonbury, which is pretty much like a town out of a Harry Potter novel, and a visit there is always time well spent. It is also one of the few places where my dress sense seems to fit!
